What is it about?
Thank you for taking part in this research project. The University of Sheffield is developing new techniques to automatically identify the highlights of popular movies. Every film fan has strong views about which are the key scenes from their favourite films and we would like your help as a film expert in evaluating how good out techniques are.
There are two stages to this process. Please select a film from the list below and then rate your knowledge of this film. Be sure to pick a film you know at least something about otherwise you will not be able to judge whether we picked the highlights.
The next and final stage is the fun part. We will show you three short clips presented together.
Please rate the three in terms of which is your favourite clip of the three, one thats intermediate, and
one thats your least favourite of the three. Our system already rated
these automatically but we want to know whether your judgments agree
with what our system chose.
